On Saturday afternoon, the Kansas City Chiefs host the Indianapolis Colts in an AFC Divisional round match-up. Two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season will be in action as Patrick Mahomes, the presumptive MVP, and Andrew Luck, the likely Comeback Player of the Year go head-to-head.
Recent playoff history hasn’t been kind to the Chiefs, but this year provides an opportunity for Mahomes and company to change the tide. Hours before kickoff, the team received some huge news – wide receiver Sammy Watkins is expected to play.
Watkins missed the month of December as he nursed an injured foot. According to Adam Schefter, he’ll be back on the field tonight since injuring the foot in practice during the first week of December.
Chiefs’ WR Sammy Watkins, questionable for Saturday’s divisional playoff due to a foot injury, is expected to play vs. Colts, per source.

It’s a huge boost for an already-potent Kansas City offense.
The Chiefs and Colts kick off at 4:35 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NBC.
