The 2018 NFL season came to a close less than a week ago as the New England Patriots dominated the Los Angeles Rams in the Super Bowl to claim their sixth Lombardi Trophy.
With the season officially over, it’s time for NFL organizations to shape their teams for the upcoming season.
The draft sits just over two months away, but free agency will give team an opportunity to add new pieces.
One player fans will be keeping their eye on is Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles. After the Eagles picked up his player option, Foles reportedly bought out the contract to become a free agent.
If Philadelphia doesn’t franchise tag Foles, he’ll hit the open market in March.
According to a report from Daniel Popper of The Athletic, the Jacksonville Jaguars plan to “make a play” for Foles.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a popular landing spot for Foles among NFL analysts after the Jags hired former Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFelippo as the team’s offensive coordinator.
The ball is now in the Eagles’ court. Philadelphia fans will be waiting to see whether or not the team hits Foles with the franchise tag.
