Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is not afraid to talk trash about opponents, even after a down year. He made it clear at the expense of Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen that he won’t be silenced.
On Monday, Ramsey retweeted a post from the Jaguars blog Big Cat Country, which had written a response to Allen’s recent call-out of the Pro Bowl cornerback. Allen had taunted Ramsey by asking him if he thought he was “still trash,” to which Big Cat Country enthusiastically said yes.
Ramsey expressed his own agreement, taking to Twitter to call out Allen and doubled down on his criticism of the Bills quarterback. “YES tf he thought!” Ramsey responded.
Lol thank you for answering for me
@BigCatCountry #YES tf he thought!

Ramsey had initially called out Allen and the entire Bills organization in an interview with GQ before the 2018 season.
“I think Allen is trash. I don’t care what nobody say. He’s trash… And it’s gonna show too. That’s a stupid draft pick to me. We play them this year, and I’m excited as hell. I hope he’s their starting quarterback…”
Despite Ramsey’s bluster, Allen and the Bills got the last last laugh in the game. Allen went 8-of-19 for 160 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 99 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground in a 24-21 win.
The game proved to be decisive in who finished higher in the overall standings. Buffalo ultimately finished one win ahead of the Jaguars in the 2018 standings, winning six games versus Jacksonville’s five.
Unlike Allen though, Ramsey got to play January football while representing the Jaguars in the Pro Bowl.
As a converted wide receiver, he caught the last touchdown of the game on a six-yard slant from Deshaun Watson.
Buffalo and Jacksonville do not play each other in 2019, so it may be a while before Ramsey has to put his money where his mouth is again.
