The FC Dallas Twitter account sent out a a bad tweet today.
Earlier today it was announced that Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott will be suspended for the first six games of the 2017 NFL season, stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident that occurred last July.
So FC Dallas, an MLS soccer team, decided to capitalize on the suspension by sending out a very, very ill-advised tweet.
The tweet, which has since been deleted, read “Yo @EzekielElliott, we’ve got six games for ya. #DTID” along with a picture of FC Dallas’s home-game schedule.

The responses were overwhelmingly negative, as one would expect.
The soccer club is owned by the Hunt family, who also happen to own the Kansas City Chiefs.
