Jalen Ramsey recently sat down with GQ for an interview, and it resulted in the outspoken Jacksonville Jaguars defensive back weighing in on just about every relevant quarterback in the NFL. Now, we’re starting to get some responses, including from Giants’ QB Eli Manning.
After getting into a discussion about Baker Mayfield, Lamar Jackson, and other rookies, Ramsey started weighing in on signal callers across the league.
He admitted that guys like Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady “don’t suck,” compared to long-time Ravens starter Joe Flacco, who “being honest about it… sucks.”
Eli Manning is a pretty divisive player throughout the NFL world, and Jalen Ramsey weighed in on the Giants quarterback as well.
Manning has won two Super Bowls against the New England Patriots, which no one can take away from him. His resume is light on other accolades though.
Of course, neither of those came during the Odell Beckham Jr. era in New York. At this point, Ramsey thinks Manning’s success is largely due to the star receiver.
Eli [Manning]… It’s not really Eli. I think it’s Odell [Beckham, Jr.]. I won’t say Eli’s good, I’ll say Odell’s good. And their connection is good.
In Eli’s defense, that was more kind than many of the other things that Ramsey had to say about quarterbacks.
Today, Manning was asked about Ramsey’s comments, and his response was pretty funny.
Eli Manning was asked about Jalen Ramsey’s interview in GQ in which he essentially said Eli’s success is a product of Odell Beckham Jr.
Manning: “No comment.”
Paused for a moment, then deadpanned: “Who?”
September 9. #NYGiants

The “who?” is pretty good. You don’t usually think of Eli as someone who could get under a brash player like Ramsey’s skin, but that may do it.
Luckily, we’ll get to see this one-on-one match-up early this year. The Giants host the Jaguars in the season opener on September 9.
