The worst has been confirmed.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in today’s game against the Minnesota Vikings, the team confirmed moments ago.
Making matters worse, the Packers fear Rodgers could miss the rest of the season.
It is a devastating blow to a team that was looking like one of the favorites in a wide-open NFC race.

With Rodgers out, backup Brett Hundley took over today. However, now the team has to decide if it wants to move forward with Hundley as its starter.
The options are slim for the Pack in free agency (Colin Kaepernick and a retired Tony Romo are the biggest names), but there are still two weeks until the NFL’s trade deadline. They could use that avenue to pursue a replacement.
