The Philadelphia Eagles used a three-game winning streak at the end of the season to sneak into the playoffs. Philadelphia owes Chicago a big thank you for taking down the Minnesota Vikings in the final week of the regular season to ensure the Eagles would make the playoffs.
Now, the Eagles and Bears will face off in the NFC Wild Card round. Once again, the Eagles will be lead by backup quarterback Nick Foles as Carson Wentz deals with an injury for the second-consecutive season.
Foles himself suffered an injury during the Eagles’ final regular season game against the Washington Redskins. The Super Bowl MVP suffered bruised ribs and left the contest early.
On Thursday afternoon, Foles was back at practice for Philadelphia.

Head coach Doug Pederson announced earlier in the week that Foles will start at quarterback so this news isn’t surprising. However, Philly fans have to feel better knowing Foles is healthy enough to get out on the practice field.
Philadelphia and Chicago are slated for a 4:40 p.m. ET kickoff on Sunday. The game will be broadcast on NBC.
