NFL wide receiver Kevin White had his car stolen.
Chicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White had his Maserati stolen on Thursday night. According to a report from TMZ, White’s car was stolen during a series of “bump and run” car thefts.
From the report:
Cops say White’s girlfriend, Roksana, was driving his white Maserati around 6:30 PM on Thursday night when the car was struck by another vehicle.
When Roksana got out of the car to exchange information with the other driver, someone (presumably an accomplice) rushed into the Maserati and bolted with the vehicle.
Officials tell TMZ Sports there have been 6 other “bump and run” style car thefts in the past week and there’s strong reason to believe they’re related.
The report also states that White’s girlfriend was not hurt as a result of the accident. Of course, that is great news, but we’re sure White will want his car back and some restitution for the theft.
White is a former first round pick, No. 7 overall, after his standout performance at West Virginia. He has not been able to replicate the same success at the NFL level due to injury.
