Washington Redskins video assistant Jack Gruden, the son of head coach Jay Gruden, has reportedly been arrested in Virginia, according to NBC4 Sports. Per NBC Sports, he was arrested at One Loudoun, “an urban inspired mixed-use community” in Ashburn.
Gruden is charged with being drunk in public. The incident occurred early Saturday morning.
The Redskins released a brief cookie-cutter statement on the matter. It comes courtesy of team spokesman Tony Wyllie.
“We are aware of the arrest of Jack Gruden. We are gathering more information and will not comment until we have further details,” the statement reads.

According to the Redskins’ team website, Jack Gruden joined the organization in a full-time capacity in 2018. His role includes “filming and editing all of the Redskins’ games and practices and assisting the team’s coaching staff with miscellaneous video tasks.”
