As if the New Orleans Saints weren’t fired up enough for their NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Sean Payton just gave them some added motivation.
This afternoon, according to New Orleans bankruptcy lawyer Jon DeTrinis, Payton rolled into the locker room with the franchise’s Lombardi Trophy on top of $225,000 in cash. He was accompanied by four armed guards.
The message? You want this, go win three bleeping games.
Coach then said: “Y’all want this???”
“Win 3 F’n games.”
The locker room erupted. $225k is each player’s SB bonus. #WHODAT

Payton was the coach when New Orleans won its first and only Super Bowl nine years ago. His team is the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC this season.
They will welcome a red-hot Eagles team into the Superdome on Sunday. Philadelphia is rolling again behind backup quarterback Nick Foles, and took down the Chicago Bears on the road last week.
Kickoff for this Eagles-Saints is set for 4:40 p.m. ET on Sunday.
FOX will broadcast the action.
