BYU QB Taysom Hill Announces He's Returning To The Cougars In 2016

BYU quarterback Taysom Hill, who would have been a sought-after commodity on the graduate transfer market, will instead return to Provo for his final season in 2016.

Hill announced the news on Twitter this afternoon.

Hill had recently been linked with Virginia, where longtime BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall is now running the show. A talented signal caller, he's been hampered by injuries the past two seasons and played just one game in 2015.

For his career, Hill has thrown for 4,606 yards, 31 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. His best season was 2013, when he tossed for 2,938 yards and 19 scores against 14 picks.
