What Seed Did BYU Get In The 2014 NCAA Tournament?

Seed: For the upcoming 2014 NCAA Tournament, the BYU Cougars were given a 10-seed in the West-region. They are coached by Dave Rose and hail from the West Coast Conference.

You can view the entire 2014 NCAA Tournament field here in our official bracket.

Where: They will open play against Oregon in Milwaukee on Thursday.

Why: BYU finished with a 13-5 record in the WCC, good enough for a tie for second place with San Francisco. The Cougars failed to win the league's postseason tournament, but posted notable victories over Stanford, Texas and Gonzaga.

Ceiling: BYU was one of the last teams included in the field, but that doesn't mean it won't be dangerous. Junior guard Tyler Haws is one of the most gifted offensive players in the country, scoring over 23 points per game for the Cougars. While BYU won't be a sexy pick to advance very far, the Cougars are certainly capable of pulling out an upset or two.
