Notre Dame football fans are getting some good news Friday night. Isaiah Robertson, a four-star athlete who plays both safety and wide receiver, has officially committed to the program. Robertson, a class of 2017 player, hails from Naperville, Illinois and stands at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds. He announced the news on Twitter, acknowledging that he originally planned on committing this summer.

Robertson chose Notre Dame over Penn State, Iowa, Wisconsin and others. He is Notre Dame's ninth commitment for the 2017 class, according to 247 Sports.
