One fan took his team’s recruiting a little too far.
Over the weekend 4-star running back recruit Markese Stepp decommitted from Notre Dame after being committed to the Irish for over a year.
Just a few days later, Stepp received a terrible message from an upset fan.
Check it out.
It’s amazing how high school kids like Markese Stepp are more mature than adults on Twitter.

Being a fan doesn’t have to be rational, but there’s a difference between painting your face for a game and verbally assaulting a young high school athlete. That being said, Stepp handled himself well in response.
Stepp is the No. 12 RB in the 2018 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
