Boston College RB Jonathan Hilliman Wants Notre Dame OL Matt Hegarty To Transfer To BC

An ESPN.com report emerged today revealing that Notre Dame offensive lineman Matt Hegarty is transferring for his final collegiate season. Hegarty had plenty of experience for the Fighting Irish, including 11 starts in 2014, and he'll be a welcome addition for whichever program he moves on to.

If Boston College starting running back Jonathan Hilliman has his wish, Hegarty will end up blocking for him in Chestnut Hill. Hilliman rushed for more than 800 yards and 13 touchdowns as a freshman last season, and hopes Hegarty can help him blossom further as a sophomore.

Time will tell if this is just wishful thinking on Hilliman's part, or if Hegarty could really end up at BC.
