4-star wide receiver Braden Lenzy took to Twitter to announce he's committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
4-star wide receiver Braden Lenzy from Trigard High School (Or.) verbally committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Wednesday night, and he made the announcement public on Twitter for the world to see. In the post, he thanked his friends, family and coaches. You can read the entire statement below:
Lenzy had offers from a plethora of DI schools, including Stanford, Cal, Michigan State and Oregon, but the 6-foot, 175-pound athlete ultimately decided Notre Dame was the right fit after visiting South Bend.
“Everything about the visit made helped make this decision the right one,” Lenzy told 247Sports. “It all clicked for me. Just walking around for the day, getting a feel for everything, I just saw myself there. I saw the tradition and it was obvious to me that this was the place I wanted to play football. People say when you know you know, well, I felt that at some places, but didn’t truly feel it until I visited Notre Dame and realized it was the place for me.”
Lenzy, who primarily plays WR, is the No. 10 ranked athlete in the nation per 247 Sports.
He's commitment No. 11 for the 2018 Notre Dame recruiting class, which as a whole currently ranks No. 2 in the nation per 247 Sports.
