Brian Kelly: Notre Dame Running Back C.J. Prosise Should Be Able To Play In Fiesta Bowl

Notre Dame has dealt with a number of injuries this season, but the Fighting Irish may get back a significant offensive playmaker for the January 1 Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State. During a press conference today, head coach Brian Kelly revealed that running back C.J. Prosise is back practicing, and should be available against the Buckeyes.

In 10 games this season, Prosise ran for 1,032 yards and 11 touchdowns, but he missed two of Notre Dame's last three games completely. Josh Adams has exploded in his absence, rushing for over 140 yards in three of Notre Dame's final four games. If the Irish have both on the field, Ohio State's defense will have its work cut out for it.
