Brian Kelly Tells Rich Eisen Chances For Renewal Of Notre Dame vs. Michigan "Trending Up"

Conference realignment cost college football a number of rivalries, even for schools that didn't make an official move. The Michigan-Notre Dame series came to a pause after the 2014 season, cancelling 2015 and 2017 games, because of the Fighting Irish's scheduling agreement with the ACC. However, according to Brian Kelly, there is a chance that the series gets renewed.

With Jim Hackett taking over as full-time athletic director at Michigan, and tradition-focused Jim Harbaugh coaching the Wolverines, perhaps there has been renewed interest from the Wolverines. However it happens, we hope these two stories programs figure things out soon.
