Brian Kelly Shut Down Idea Of Sheldon Day And Jarron Jones Playing QB In Notre Dame's Spring Game

Notre Dame is one of the various high-profile programs with a major quarterback battle heading into 2015. The incumbent starter Everett Golson had an up-and-down 2014, while sophomore Malik Zaire impressed in limited time, especially in the Music City Bowl win over LSU. Two players who won't be involved, however? Defensive linemen Sheldon Day and Jarron Jones. The two had been lobbying to play quarterback on Twitter this week, but Brian Kelly has put a quick end to the idea.
