College football bowl season is here. The games get started on Saturday with a six-pack of matchups.
Every week during the regular season, Associated Press national college football writer Ralph Russo makes his picks for the top games on the schedule. Now that bowl season is here, he has picked every game.
Russo unveiled his bowl picks this afternoon. He has Alabama and Clemson winning the two College Football Playoff semifinals.
Here’s Russo’s score prediction for Clemson-Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl, as well as his main reason to watch the game.
Why watch? The Fighting Irish make their first playoff appearance. Love’em or hate’em, you’ll watch’em … CLEMSON 35-26.
You can view all of Russo’s bowl predictions here.
The last time these Clemson and Notre Dame met was back in 2015, when the Tigers won a thrilling game in the rain in Death Valley. They culminated that season with a trip to the national title game.
The Cotton Bowl will kick off at 4 p.m. ET on December 29 on ESPN.
