Clemson Football Issues Update For Saturday With Reports Calling For "Historic" Flooding In The Area

College football's game of the week looks like it's going to be a rainy one.

Clemson (3-0) is set to host Notre Dame (4-0) at Memorial Stadium Saturday night. With Hurricane Joaquin ramping up off the East Coast, the state of South Carolina is dealing with heavy rainfall. There's already been some flooding in the area and nearly a foot of rain is expected to hit the Upstate.

Tigers' officials have been monitoring the weather and this morning issued an update for Saturday. Everything is still a go.

Which team has the edge in a rainy, sloppy contest? The Tigers have the edge at quarterback and are playing at home, though the Fighting Irish are nearly as good as it gets on the lines and have ran the ball extremely well despite losing Tarean Folston to injury.

Clemson and Notre Dame are set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on ABC.
