College Football’s Newest Top 25 AP Poll Released

Week three of the college football season has come and gone, and it's safe to say that it was easily the most entertaining slate of games we've been gifted so far this year. Some teams, like South Carolina, Oklahoma, Boston College and UCLA, made big statements. On the contrary, others, like Georgia, Tennessee, USC and Texas, showed that they have work to do.

We showed you the most recent Coaches' Poll just a few hours ago, and there weren't many changes near the top. The AP Poll tells much of the same story. Florida State, Oregon, Alabama, Oklahoma and Auburn remain your top five ranked teams. After that though, there are a number of big changes.

Georgia's loss to South Carolina dropped the Bulldogs from No. 6 to No. 13 - it also moved the Gamecocks up from No. 24 to No. 14. Texas A&M, Baylor, LSU, Notre Dame and Ole Miss all jumped up due to UGA's loss. And once again, there are eight SEC teams total in the poll.

Here's the entire poll, via the Associated Press:
