Cornelius Johnson, a four-star wide receiver, is just over a week away from his decision. He’s been on a series of visits, and has trimmed his list to five big programs.
As of now, things sound like they’re pretty up in the air, at least based on what the recruiting media knows.
Johnson was at Penn State this weekend. The Nittany Lions are among the five schools vying for his services.
James Franklin’s club is joined by Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame and Stanford. There is not a clear leader right now.
Coming off of the Penn State visit, Cornelius Johnson revealed his top five schools.

247Sports ranks Johnson as a four-star player. He is the No. 256 overall composite player.
He is the No. 39 wide receiver, and the No. 2 player in Connecticut. Johnson plays at The Brunswick School in Greenwich, where he will make his decision on December 19, the first dya of the college football early signing period.
247’s crystal ball has Notre Dame and Stanford with 29-percent each, the highest mark of any schools. Michigan has 14-percent of predictions, while another 29-percent are undecided.
This one can go in any direction. Johnson will finish up his visit schedule next week with a trip to Ann Arbor, ahead of his decision.
