Derek Jeter Needs Some Points If He's Going To Take Michigan Against Notre Dame

Michigan and Notre Dame will play for potentially the final time tonight, and if you need more proof of the magnitude of the schools' ultimate contest, look at Derek Jeter.

The New York Yankees' shortstop and captain rarely speaks about anything outside his realm--baseball, basically--but No. 2, a Kalamazoo, Mich. native, has offered up an opinion on the conclusive meeting between the Wolverines and Fighting Irish.

If Jeter is going to take Michigan, he won't do it straight-up. He needs some points.

The line for the game is Notre Dame -3.5. Is that enough points for you to take Michigan, Mr. Jeter?

Michigan and Notre Dame are set to square off at 7:30 p.m. E.T. in South Bend, Ind. The game will be televised by NBC.
