Most of us know ESPN's Dick Vitale as one of the faces of college basketball, but he is also a die hard Notre Dame football fan.

There are some big hoops games today, including Kentucky-Louisville.

Dickie V isn't going to miss a chance to see his Fighting Irish play for a National Championship berth, though.

Notre Dame faces Clemson at AT&T Stadium in the No. 2 vs. No. 3 game of the College Football Playoff. The winner will play the winner of the Orange Bowl between Alabama and Oklahoma.

Dick Vitale has already made his way to Jerry World for the game, and looks absolutely elated to be there.

He has posted pictures from the stands, and with some fans from both sides of the game, as he is wont to do.

Dickie V knows that Notre Dame is a pretty big underdog today, but he still believes Brian Kelly's team can come out on top.

From Twitter:

The betting line has tightened up a bit, especially after the news that Tigers superstar defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is out after his failed drug test.

Per OddsShark, the line is down to Clemson -10.5 or -11 at most sportsbooks, after going as high as 12.5 or 13 points in favor of the Tigers.
