Virginia Tech has a rash of major players considering transfers, including wide receiver Eric Kumah.
The potential grad transfer caught 42 passes for 559 yards and seven touchdowns for the up-and-down Hokies in 2018.
Kumah has a few big-time transfer options, and a pretty diverse set of schools.
He had previously announced visits to Texas Tech (March 30) and Penn State (April 6).
Kumah revealed that he was working on a Notre Dame visit as well, and as it turns out, the Fighting Irish will have the first chance to make an impression on the Fighting Irish.
Eric Kumah took to Twitter to announce that he’ll head to South Bend to check out Notre Dame on February 23.
He previously said he was “working on” setting a date.
Notre Dame hosts No. 12 Virginia Tech in men’s basketball the day that Kumah is set to head to campus.

Notre Dame’s passing offense really emerged with Ian Book under center last season, after he was installed as starting quarterback in mid-September.
Kumah would give him another nice target for the 2019 season.
