Forbes Releases List Of 20 Most Valuable College Football Teams

It's no secret that college football programs can be very valuable commodities for universities. This week, Forbes released its annual "Most Valuable" report, which details the 20 schools that benefit the most, monetarily, from their football teams. Fans won't be surprised to see a familiar name at the top.

The study, which looks at value in four "key areas" - their universities, athletic departments, conferences and local communities - lists each team in terms of total valuation, revenue and profit. Texas, yet again, is the most valuable on the list.

In total, there are nine teams from the SEC, five from the Big Ten, three from the Pac-12, two from the Big 12, and one independent (Notre Dame). If you'd like to check out more about the methodology, head over to Forbes.
