Bob Diaco has spent countless years helping coaching staffs around the country either as a head coach or a defensive assistant, and it appears he is on the move once again.
Diaco was most recently the outside linebackers coach for the Oklahoma Sooners.
He's served as the defensive coordinator for Nebraska, Notre Dame and Cincinnati over the course of his coaching career. Unfortunately his tenure with the Cornhuskers lasted just one season due to the coaching staff overhaul that took place.
Well, it didn't take long for him to find another opening for a defensive coordinator position in college football.
According to BleedTechBlue, Diaco will become the new defensive coordinator at Louisiana Tech.
The Bulldogs needed to replace Blake Baker, who left the program to become the defensive coordinator for Manny Diaz and the Miami Hurricanes.
Perhaps Diaco could use this latest gig to catapult him to another marquee job in the future.
After all, he did spend three years as the head coach for UConn, which was actually his first head coaching job.
