Former Ohio State Commit Dane Goodwin Pledges To Notre Dame

The four-star recruit has committed to the Fighting Irish.

Dane Goodwin, one of the top shooting guards in the 2018 class, has committed to Notre Dame.

The four-star Ohio recruit had been committed to Ohio State, but de-committed from the Buckeyes' program in late June following OSU's coaching change.

Goodwin had said he intended to continue to consider the Buckeyes, but he's decided on another program.

The 6-foot-4 guard announced his commitment to Notre Dame on Twitter.

Goodwin is ranked the No. 21 shooting guard and No. 91 overall recruit in the 2018 class by 247Sports' Composite Rankings.

He becomes Notre Dame's third commit in the 2018 class, joining four-star guards Prentiss Hubb and Robby Carmody. The class is ranked the No. 9 class in the country by 247Sports.
