When full class of 2021 rankings roll out, expect IMG Academy's Greg Crippen to be high up there. The Massachusetts native has offers from many of the top programs in the country.

Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Michigan, Pitt, Purdue, and Syracuse are among the early offers that have rolled in for Crippen. Notre Dame hasn't pulled the trigger yet, but he's firmly on their radar.

Crippen recently spoke to Rivals, and revealed that he is set to make his third trip to South Bend since last football season. This time, it is more about his recruitment, while earlier he camped with the Fighting Irish.

He will be on campus on Thursday:

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy 2021 offensive lineman Greg Crippen visited Notre Dame during the 2018 football season and for a lineman camp over the summer, and will return to South Bend on Thursday for another look at the program.

The 6-foot-4, 270 pound Crippen said the visit has been on his mind for a while.

“I have been looking forward to this for a while,” Crippen said. “I’m Looking forward to getting there early and spending the day watching practice, talking to academics and talking to coaches and players.”

Notre Dame's combination of academics and athletics helps Notre Dame stand out for Greg Crippen.

He said as much in the interview:

“Academics with athletics,” Crippen said of what’s most important in his recruitment. “I’m looking for a great combination of them both.”

Offensive line coach Jeff Quinn leads the way in Crippen's recruitment, and has built a solid bond with the IMG star.

While a decision could be a way's off, Notre Dame has already started to build its 2021 class. The Fighting Irish recently landed four-star quarterback Tyler Buchner to get the ball rolling with the current high school sophomores.
