Here's The First Look At Former Notre Dame Star Jaylon Smith In Dallas Cowboys Gear

After suffering a devastating knee injury in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State, Notre Dame linebacker Jaylon Smith saw his draft stock plummet, as many believed that there could be long-term damage. The Dallas Cowboys, however, were willing to take a risk on the young man, electing to select him No. 34 overall anyway. If you haven't seen it yet - video of Smith learning his fate is really cool.

Thursday, the Cowboys gave fans the first look at Smith in team gear. He looks truly happy to be in the situation he's in.

Smith is likely going to miss most of the 2016 season, but the Cowboys knew that already. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and becomes a productive NFL player.
