Before 247Sports updated its 2019 recruiting rankings, Jack Kiser was among Notre Dame's lowest-ranked incoming players.

The Pioneer High School star played in a small football division in Indiana, which depressed the amount of coverage he had as a prospect.

As a recruit in the program's backyard, clearly Brian Kelly and his staff knew what they were doing.

According to ND Insider, Kiser was ranked No. 672 overall, and No. 43 among outside linebackers in the class of 2019 at 247Sports.

With the updated rankings, he has to be one of the recruits whose rankings has gone up the most.

Kiser shot up 481 overall spots, to No. 191 overall, and he jumped up to No. 13 at his position.

247Sports also made Jack Kiser a four-star recruit in its latest rankings update.

From 247's Tom Loy:

Kiser still lags behind in the other rankings that comprise the site's composite, so he's at No. 411 overall there and No. 20 among outside linebackers.

Still, it is an impressive jump for the future Fighting Irish defender.

He is one of 10 early enrollees in Notre Dame's 2019 class. The group is ranked No. 15 in the country.
