Notre Dame Coach Brian Kelly Not Sure If Everett Golson Will Start At Quarterback Going Forward

Everett Golson had a brutal day during Notre Dame's 49-14 loss to USC. The Fighting Irish's signal caller went 7-for-18 with 75 passing yards, no touchdowns and an interceptions against the Trojans, and he was replaced by sophomore Malik Zaire.

After the game, Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly was non-committal when he was asked about Golson's role going forward, saying that he's not sure if he will start in the future.

While Zaire didn't have an outstanding game, he was still solid, as he went 9-for-20 with 170 passing yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions. However, he did lead both of the Golden Domers' scoring drives and had a rushing touchdown.

Notre Dame fell to 7-5 after today's loss, and the team's regular season is over.
