On Wednesday afternoon, the ACC released its schedule for the 2019 college football season. With the schedule released, Notre Dame fans finally knew who its opponents would be playing the week before they take on the Fighting Irish.

That news was not positive for Notre Dame fans. According to Notre Dame beat writer Pete Sampson, every ACC opponent, except for one, on Notre Dame's schedule has an open date before taking on the Fighting Irish.

Check it out.

The first makes sense as the Fighting Irish open the season with a trip to Louisville to take on the Cardinals. To be fair, the ACC opponents on Notre Dame's schedule shouldn't offer too much of a challenge for the Fighting Irish.

Louisville, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Duke and Boston College aren't on the same playing field as Notre Dame. Meanwhile, the Irish get the week off before traveling to Ann Arbor to take on Michigan.
