Notre Dame fans are already tired of Brian Kelly's two-quarterback system. We're one quarter of play into the 2016 season.
Notre Dame has two viable quarterbacks - Malik Zaire and Deshone Kizer - both of whom have played well enough as starters in the past to claim the role this year. But Kelly, heading into the season, told fans he was going to play both against Texas. Fans still aren't taking it well.
Kizer led the team down the field for a touchdown on Notre Dame's first possession, but since then, both signal-callers have struggled to move the ball. College football fans and analysts are expressing themselves just a bit on social media.
Ironically, Texas is also using a two-quarterback system, alternating between Shane Buechele and Tyrone Swoopes. It's 7-7 just before halftime.
