Notre Dame Defensive End Ishaq Williams' Appeal Denied By NCAA

Defensive end Ishaq Williams, a former five-star recruit out of Brooklyn, will not play for Notre Dame in 2015. Williams, one of five players who were suspended last summer due to academic misconduct, has had his appeal denied by the NCAA. Brian Kelly made the announcement today:

Williams will remain at Notre Dame in pursuit of his degree. Williams played in 35 games for Notre Dame from 2011-2013, starting one, and totaling 45 total tackles, six tackles for loss, a sack, and a forced fumble.
