Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly is just over a week away from coaching his biggest game in years, but he has to be feeling confident about his future after today's start to the early signing period.

Notre Dame now has the No. 13 ranked recruiting class in the country after securing 21 commitments.

Last year's class was ranked No. 10 in the country, according to 247Sports.

Notre Dame's class includes 15 4-star recruits. Only Penn State and Alabama have more.

Among the marquee players for Notre Dame are S Kyle Hamilton, the No. 8 Safety in the country; OT Quinn Carroll, the No. 12 OT in the country; and, DE NaNa Osafo-Mensah, the No. 7 Weak-Side DE in the country.

The class also includes another six 3-star recruits.

None of Notre Dame's players were ranked in the top-100.

Unfortunately for Brian Kelly, the quest for a elite 5-star prospect will have to continue. The Fighting Irish haven't landed a 5-star recruit since 2016.
