Notre Dame Commits Appear To Call Out 4-Star DL Donovan Jeter After Decommitment

Notre Dame football suffered a decommitment earlier today from four-star defensive lineman Donovan Jeter.

Overall, Jeter was committed to the Irish for only four weeks. In the aftermath of Jeter's announcement, a pair of Notre Dame football commits have commented on his decision on Twitter while offering loyalty to their future program.

Four-star quarterback Avery Davis and four-star athlete C.J. Holmes appeared to call out Jeter. Both noted the fact he misspelled Notre as "norte" in his decommitment tweet --which was likely the result of autocorrect.

Holmes also tweeted about people abandoning the ship because the Irish are struggling at 2-5, which might have been a subtweet of Jeter.

Interestingly, Jeter did say Notre Dame remains his top school, so it appears he is still considering the Irish.

Will Davis and Holmes' tweets have an effect on him, either positive or negative?
