Notre Dame Football: Re-Instated CB KeiVarae Russell Says He "Wouldn't Change A Thing" In Heartfelt Instagram Post

KeiVarae Russell has had a whirlwind college football career for the University of Notre Dame. He was a true freshman starter for a team that reached the BCS title game, and emerged as one of the top cornerbacks in the country as a sophomore in 2013. He spent all of 2014 away from the program, suspended for academic dishonesty.

But Russell is back with the team for his senior season, and he's excited about it. This afternoon, the Washington native posted a "Throwback Thursday" picture on his Instagram account, flashing back to the day he committed to ND in 2011. Accompanying the photo was a long, heartfelt message recounting all he's been through, and how he "wouldn't change a thing."

Russell will provide a definite boost to the Irish secondary this season, and appears to have matured enough to provide leadership as well.
