Notre Dame football inked 23 players with the opening of the early signing period on Wednesday, but the Fighting Irish are not done. Brian Kelly and his staff are still targeting a few other top players.

One of them is already committed elsewhere, but he still may end up heading to South Bend.

Four-star safety Asa Turner is the lone player in Washington's 2019 class that has not yet signed with the Huskies. Chris Petersen isn't happy about it.

While he can't refer directly to an unsigned player or situation, he was clearly thinking about Notre Dame when he discussed "vultures" in the recruiting game on Wednesday.

Asa Turner could flip to Notre Dame football, and the Fighting Irish are clear favorites for four-star defensive end Isaiah Foskey.

Unlike Turner, Foskey isn't committed anywhere. All 16 247 crystal ball predictions for him have him signing with Notre Dame.

He is set to make a commitment on National Signing Day in February. The California native is the No. 168 player in the country and No. 10 weak-side defensive end.

Back in September, he announced a top five featuring the Irish, as well as Cal, Michigan, Ohio State, and Washington.

Right now, 247 has Notre Dame at No. 13 in the country, with 21 players in the fold. With those two, they'll push for a top 10 finish.
