When the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on Clemson in the Cotton Bowl Classic in a few weeks, they’ll have a sharp new uniform.
On Friday morning, the team unveiled its new uniform designed by Under Armour.
While blue, gold, and white are the primary colors, the team added secondary color green to the uniform on the gloves and the cleats.
The helmet and pants are gold, while the jersey is white with blue letters bordered by gold.
The inside of the collar contains the words “Rush 4 Gold” – the theme of the team’s College Football Playoff hunt.

The Fighting Irish finished the regular season at 12-0, securing the No. 3 spot in the College Football Playoff and a date with Clemson in the Cotton Bowl Classic.
Their last 12-0 start culminated in a loss to Alabama in the BCS National Championship Game in 2012.
Notre Dame’s last national championship win came in 1988.
