Last year, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish made the College Football Playoff after going undefeated in the regular season. While it'll be hard to meet expectations this fall, Brian Kelly should have a quality supporting cast to make another championship run.

The biggest factor for Notre Dame is the development of Ian Book. Another year of college football could do wonders for his progression as a pro-style quarterback.

Notre Dame lost several playmakers to the 2019 NFL Draft, such as Julian Love, Miles Boykin and Alizé Mack. In order to make up for those departures, the historic program needs contributions from its incoming freshmen.

According to 247Sports' rankings, the Fighting Irish have the No. 15 recruiting class in the country. The top freshmen are safety Kyle Hamilton and center Zeke Correll.

With the upcoming season only two months away, Notre Dame unveiled its jersey numbers for the freshmen class.

Irish Sports Daily posted the majority of the numbers on Instagram.

Notre Dame has a tough road back to the playoff in 2019, as it'll have to face Georgia and Michigan within the first two months.

The Fighting Irish begin this season with a showdown against the Louisville Cardinals on the road.
