Notre Dame Is Letting Fans Call A Play In The 2015 Blue-Gold Game

Notre Dame's annual spring football contest - dubbed the Blue-Gold Game - will not be seen by too many fans in person, considering it's being played on a practice field while Notre Dame Stadium undergoes renovation. But that doesn't mean that fans can't still have an impact on the game this year.

Brian Kelly and the school are asking fans to submit offensive play calls to the program via Twitter. Kelly says that the team will run one of them to start the second half. Check it out:

Here's how you can enter, via Notre Dame:

  1. Take a photo of the play or record a video of you drawing and explaining the offensive play you would like to see the Irish run
  2. Upload the photo/video to a tweet using the hashtag #NDCallThePlay
  3. Watch the Blue-Gold Game on Saturday, April 18th at 12:30pm on NBCSN (the play will be run as the first offensive play of the second half)

Let's hope Kelly's play call choice shows some creativity. Notre Dame's Blue-Gold Game kicks off at 12:30 this Saturday. It will be televised on the NBC Sports Network.
