Notre Dame's strong recruiting month continued on Monday evening with the addition of Danville (Ky.) Boyle County three-star athlete Landen Bartleson, the program's third 2020 commitment in the last two weeks.

The 6-foot-1, 182-pound Bartleson joins four-star offensive lineman Michael Carmody and three-star defensive back Clarence Lewis as 2020 pledges for the Irish in June. Notre Dame has also landed three four-star recruits in the 2021 class this month.

Bartleson, the No. 10 senior in the state of Kentucky and the No. 62 athlete recruit in the class, according to 247Sports' Composite Rankings, officially visited South Bend over the weekend. He chose the Irish over Purdue, Kentucky, Michigan and others.

According to 247Sports, Bartleson will play defensive back at Notre Dame, offering the potential to play cornerback or safety.

Notre Dame's 2020 class currently ranks fifth in the nation. The Fighting Irish possess 14 commitments, including four top-100 prospects and eight top-200 recruits.
