Notre Dame left tackle Mike McGlinchey is projected by many to be a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
However, McGlinchey still has one more year of eligibility remaining in South Bend. Today, he told the assembled Fighting Irish media he intends to return to school for his fifth-year in 2017, as of now.
Now, McGlinchey could always change his mind. Wide receiver Will Fuller said last year he would be back for his final season, and now he's a rookie star for the NFL's Houston Texans. Defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt also had a change of heart in 2013.
But if McGlinchey does return, he'll provide a huge boost to a Notre Dame offensive line which could be one of the most experienced in the country next season.
