Nelson is off to the pros, as expected.

Notre Dame left guard Quenton Nelson, a projected top-10 pick, has officially declared for the 2018 NFL Draft.

Nelson, a three-year starter for the Fighting Irish after redshirting in 2014, helped the Notre Dame offensive line earn the Joe Moore Award for the country's top OL unit.

He also became the 34th unanimous All-American in Notre Dame history this season.

Notre Dame capped off a 10-3 season with a 21-17 win over LSU in the Citrus Bowl earlier today.
