Notre Dame offensive lineman Tristen Hoge will finish out his career at another program.
News came out today that Notre Dame offensive lineman Tristen Hoge was leaving the program and transferring. It didn’t take long to find out where he is heading.
BYU announced that Hoge is joining the Cougar program. He will have to sit out the 2017 season.
Hoge appeared in six games as a redshirt freshman for the Fighting Irish in 2016.

The No. 1 center in the 2015 class, Hoge came to South Bend with a big reputation. He redshirted his first year and played in a backup role this past fall.
With starting center Sam Mustipher entrenched at his spot, Hoge was unlikely to play much with the Irish.
