Notre Dame junior running back C.J. Prosise is entering the 2016 NFL Draft, he announced moments ago on Instagram.
In his first season as a running back, Prosise took over for injured starter Tarean Folston in the season opener against Texas and didn't look back. He rushed for a team-leading 1,032 yards and 11 touchdowns while adding 26 receptions for 308 yards and another score.
Injuries hampered Prosise over the season's final month. He suffered a concussion against Pitt and missed the next game against Wake Forest. Prosise returned to the field the following week against Boston College but an ankle injury against the Eagles kept him out of the season finale at Stanford and severely limited his usage in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State.
