Notre Dame didn't waste any time reaching out to recruits once the September 1 contact period began Tuesday, and that's how elite recruiting programs stay afloat in today's college football landscape - constant contact.

Thomas, a 5-foot-11, 165-pound corner out of Detroit, Michigan, is believed to be a Michigan State lean at this point, but there's still a lot of time between now and Signing Day, 2017. And these probably won't be the last pieces of mail he receives from Notre Dame.
