Ohio State will be getting some help at a key position ahead of the 2016 season. Notre Dame senior Chase Hounshell, originally a three-star defensive lineman recruit in the class of 2011, has announced that he will be heading to Columbus to play for the Buckeyes this upcoming year as a preferred walk-on graduate transfer. According to 247 Sports, Hounshell, now a tight end, will need to finish up his final semester at Notre Dame this spring before officially making the move.
The news was first reported by 247 Sports, and later confirmed by Hounshell himself. Hounshell played in 13 games this past year and caught one pass for six yards.
